Voice Mail:
Unlike answering machines, Voice Mail can take messages for
you when you're on the phone or when you're on the Internet.
And, of course, Voice Mail takes professional messages for you
when you're away from the phone. (For your Voice Mail to work,
you must also have our Call Forwarding feature. We'll be glad
to show you how to set it up quickly and easily!)
Caller
ID Name & Number:
See the name and number of the person calling before you answer
the phone. This is great for screening calls from callers with
whom you don't wish to speak, and it allows you to customize
your greeting to customers, friends and family.
Caller
ID Name & Number Block:
Always have your number blocked from being
displayed on the Caller ID units of the people you call by simply
dialing *67 before you place a call.
Call Waiting:
With Call Waiting, you'll never miss another call just because
you're on the phone. Great for busy families, and businesses.
Cancel
Call Waiting:
If you have Call Waiting and you use the Internet, Cancel Call
Waiting is a must. You simply cancel your call waiting prior
to your online session by dialing *70, and you won't be interrupted.
It's also great for businesses who don't want to be interrupted
during an important call, or families who don't want to be interrupted
during a long distance call. Cancel Call Waiting is included
with Call Waiting service.
Call Forwarding:
With Call Forwarding, you can forward your
calls to another phone or your wireless phone when you've got
to go, or when your line is busy and you can't answer. And,
you can forward your calls to another phone when you're on vacation
or away from home. This protects you, because no one will ever
know that you're not at home. Great for businesses, people with
wireless phones and people who travel or who are away from home
often.

Calling:
Quickly dial up to 30 of your most frequently
called numbers by dialing just 2 numbers. Great for households
with children or elderly residents who need a simple way to
make a call in an emergency. It's also great for businesses
and busy families needing to save time on frequently dialed
numbers.
Distinctive
Ring/Teen Line:
Want to add another line without the cost
of adding another line? With Distinctive Ring, it's like having
two phone lines in one. You'll get another phone number, which
rings differently than your home phone number, so you'll always
know when the phone is for your teen!
This feature is also great for home-based
businesses, because your business phone number rings differently
than your home phone number, so you'll always know when you're
receiving business calls. It's also great for fax lines. You'll
even hear a different call waiting tone when you're on the phone.

Three-way
Calling
With three-way calling, you can conference
call for only $1.50 per month! Talk to two people on one call,
even if one is long distance. Great for businesses needing to
conference call, and families who want to save time!
Warm Line:
When you lift the handset, if you haven't
dialed within 30 seconds, your telephone will automatically
dial an emergency number. This is a very inexpensive way to
keep senior citizens, and children safe. If there's an emergency,
they can simply knock the phone off the hook, and help will
be on its way.

Recall:
Miss a call? Just dial *69 and the last
person who called you will be called back.
*66
Automatic Callback:
Tired of redialing busy numbers? Just dial
*66 and the number will be redialed for you until it becomes
available.
Anonymous
Call Rejection:
With Anonymous Call Rejection, you'll automatically
reject all those calls designated as anonymous. You know the
onesthose calls that always seem to interrupt your dinner.
In fact, with Anonymous Call Rejection, your phone won't even
ring!
Selective
Call Rejection:
This feature allows you to create a list
of numbers you don't want to accept calls from. (This feature
works for local calls only) .These callers receive a message
that says you aren't taking calls at this time. This feature
shields your business and your family from undesirable phone
calls.
Selective
Distinctive Ring:
Only want to answer the phone for important
calls? This feature allows you to create a special list of VIP
phone numbers. When you receive calls from those phone numbers,
your phone rings with a special ringing tone!
Call Trace:
If you are receiving obscene, threatening
or harassing calls, use call trace to have the party's number
traced and printed out by Van Buren Telephone. Call trace enhances
your security and privacy by helping you to put an end to offending
